GRACE CONSTRUCTION PRODUCTS INTRODUCES TWO NEW
BITUTHENE® PRIMERS TO COMPLY FULLY WITH NEW EPA STANDARDS
CAMBRIDGE, Massachusetts, September 13, 1999
Grace Construction Products (GCP) has raised the bar for performance and environmental friendliness within the waterproofing industry by introducing two new primers: Bituthene® Primer WP-3000 and Bituthene® Primer B2. These two products replace three solvent-based products which are no longer manufactured by Grace, as of September 13, 1999.
The company, a worldwide leader in the construction products industry, has created these primers to meet U.S. EPA's Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) emission standards for architectural coatings with NO COMPROMISES in performance. Exceptional news for the environment! Bituthene® Primer WP-3000 and Bituthene® Primer B2 assure complete compliance with the new EPA standards and build on Grace's vision of offering high quality, environmentally friendly products that perform.
Available now throughout the United States and Canada, Bituthene® Primer WP-3000 and Bituthene® Primer B2 work on vertical and horizontal surfaces and can be used with all Bituthene® and Perm-A-Barrier® membranes. They are the latest in the state-of-the-art line of Grace Waterproofing Products for professional contractors. Both primers have been extensively researched and field tested and are backed by a full time sales force and technical staff trained to provide any necessary product or equipment support.
Both primers continue Grace's evolution to water-based, more friendly technologies. They complement our current Bituthene® System 4000 technology introduced nearly 10 years ago and Procor® Fluid Applied Waterproofing ntroduced in 1995.
